2020 Keynote Speakers

No Excuses
Kyle Maynard, Opening Keynote Speaker

Kyle Maynard will inspire you to challenge yourself and will remind you that there are no worthy excuses. No matter how challenging your difficulties may seem, we each possess the ability to overcome them; Kyle shows you how.
Born with a rare condition known as congenital amputation, that left him with arms that end at the elbows and legs that end near his knees, he learned early on to live life independently, knowing that exceptions wouldn’t be made for him. He has lived his life striving to do more, learn more, push harder, go further – and to inspire others to do the same by sharing his story and living by example.
His accomplishments as an athlete, and now mountaineer, speak for themselves. Kyle has learned many valuable lessons through training and sports, wins and defeats, scrambling and summiting. Each of us face a challenge or an obstacle, and Kyle shows others that they’re capable of persevering and achieving greatness in their lives as well, even if that means sometimes failing along the way.

Energy Disruption: How Great People and Organizations Innovate in Times of Rapid Change
Jose Pires, Afternoon Keynote Speaker

In a fast-changing world, how do you build a culture where extraordinary innovation becomes ordinary? A culture that lasts and consistently delivers exponential leaders, growth and value creation. The key ingredients to innovation acceleration are not what you see portrayed most often in the media. Great, enduring organizations know what it really takes to create and, most importantly, scale innovation. We will explore how exponential technologies and new market forces are disrupting entire industries and professions. What the future of work looks like and how innovation and collaborative leadership skills become essential for professional development and growth.

This high energy session will engage the audience in powerful collaborative leadership principles applied to business improvement and innovation. In the “Need for Speed” challenge, participants will collaborate to innovate in real time and “make the impossible, possible.”
